Tutoring review by Tiffany in Elizabeth, NC
We were nearing the end of the unit, so the lesson and homework we did was more of a re-cap of past lessons and putting everything together concerning specific shapes and how to determine mathematical information given their known properties. The student is retaining the information very well.

Tutoring review by Kori in Elizabeth, NC
We completed a homework assignment on graphing sine, cosine, secant, and cosecant functions and identifying their amplitude, period, and phase shift. With the remaining time we did extra problems from the book to reinforce the concepts. These included problems similar to the homework problems as well as determining possible equations to describe a graphed sinusoid.

Tutoring review by Brea in Elizabeth, NC
The student and I went over her graded worksheets that she received back, and we went over all of her wrong answers. She knows how to read a graph very well; she would just get stumped on her reading comprehension of the questions. We walked through and talked about when we see "How many more students voted for hamburgers than pizza?" that we look at the keywords "more" and "than" as having to subtract. I printed off a multiplication table for her to study and learn her multiples of each number so that when we divide she can better understand how to get the product of each problem.
