"Student and I continued our work in 3-D geometric figures, and he was able to finish his homework early. We ran through geometry terms and methods of approaching problems that will appear on his exam, and I assigned him homework on his exam review for him to finish by next time we meet. Student also asked for my assistance with study for an anatomy test he was taking the next day, and I provided help."
"Prepped for upcoming Geometry test. We covered primarily solids, 3 - dimensional shapes, and area problems. We primarily used her past geometry tests to review problems she had previously missed."

"We prepared for the student's upcoming test covering the volume and surface area of prisms, pyramids, and spheres. She understands the material well, and we made a formula sheet to help her keep track of the different formulas for the various shapes and forms. I think she will do well on her test."
"The student received an A on is last assessment which was great news. He was working on area of circles and surface area of a cylinders which he said was a bit confusion for him. When asked exactly what confused him, he stated he wasn't sure so we went through each problem until I could diagnosed the problem. He did well with the area of a circle but it was the surface area of a cylinder that proved to be a challenge. I explained to him that the area of a cylinder is just the area of a circle (which he had already done) and a rectangle which he already knew. Once I explained that concept to him, it seemed to be a bit more clear. I also sketched images of this since the student is very visual learner. We did several examples of this type labeling our types and completed his homework as well."
"The student has a test coming up next Thursday. Since the teacher provided a review packet, we used that as a guide. We did have to review some material from last semester, but the student does know his basics. In addition to the problems, I also attempted to explain the logic behind certain problems and formulas so he understand why certain things work instead of just memorizing facts."
"The student worked on practice math problems, which she accessed on her laptop. She said most of the problems were not too difficult, but had questions on a few problems. The problems we worked on were generally geometry problems dealing with angles, perimeters, and areas of polygons and circles. The student had some difficulty figuring out how to solve these problems, but was able to understand the processes when explained to her."
"The student has a test on Monday over chapter 9, so we thoroughly reviewed chapter 9 today. She still remembers almost all of the chapter. I am confident that she will score high on the test, given she is careful about +/- signs, transformation patterns, and basic algebra and matrix operations. We will continue to review for the final next Friday."
"We went through a broad review of the year's Geometry work in preparation for a final exam. We went over each of the topics covered during the year, such as triangles, congruency, properties, proofs, and circles. I also gave the student some test-taking and studying advice for the exam. Overall, the student seemed to understand the material very well."
"This session we went through all the practice problems for her test, including reflections, translations, rotations, line symmetry, rotational symmetry, plane symmetry and symmetry about an axis. Her test was today, and I hope to hear very good news, because it seemed like while physically doing the rotations (having to trace the angle and then measure the distance from the point of the angle to the each vertex of the shape) is a pain, she has a VERY solid fundamental understanding of what is happening."
"Today we started reviewing for the student's final exam. We went over circle geometry theorems and proofs, and the laws of sines and cosines. Also, congrats to the student for getting a 96 on her physics exam!"
"The student and I worked with slope intercept form and point slope form today. We did several activities to find the slope of two points, and to use both points and slope to find the slope intercept form of an equation and the point slope form. We also discussed how to find the y-intercept form."
