Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered Newtonian Laws/kinematics and their applications to incline physics problems. Some problems were left on her homework for practice. The student struggled most with using the trig ratios on the ramps to compute forces, so I offered some strategies for which equation to choose."
"In this session, we concluded our review for his final exam, covering two-dimensional motion and rotational motion among the four chapters of review. The student was extremely solid in rotational motion, but just a bit rusty on the two-dimensional problems. We spent a bit more time elucidating these issues, and he got better after a couple examples. I had him review a few remaining problems after he left to ensure that these were solid."
"We continued with the review assignment that we had started the previous session. The student seems to be mainly struggling with confidence issues and not knowing how to start problems. However, when pushed a little bit, she was able to solve most of the problems with minimal hints."
