Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"For today's session, we began reviewing the students' latest homework assignment concerning IMFs and phase changes. I was able to point out and ask more general conceptual questions with most problems. I felt that by framing most of the questions in terms of what is happening at a molecular level, it was much easier for them to understand how various properties change with changing temperature, phase, etc. Based on their already thorough comprehension of the material, they should have no problem finishing the homework before our next session."
"During this session work and kinetic and potential energies were reviewed using drawn examples, as well as through completing homework. Student just needs practice working out problems and concepts."
"The student and I focused on physics and covered the conservation of momentum and the work energy theorem. She had a physics lab that dealt with the concept of conservation of momentum and had to answer a few questions at the end of the lab. It appeared she understood the concept and what the lab was trying to accomplish. Her homework covered the work energy theorem, and I felt like she grasped the basic concept, but we will do more practice solving problems."
