"I helped the student review for her upcoming test. She had a study which we went through most of. Some of the material hadn't been covered in class since the test is in six days so we got a bit of a head start. I also made sure that she was all set with the topics that had been done in class."
"We had a productive session today working on redox reactions and electrochemistry in preparation for the student's test. We began with a review of concepts using interactive notes and practice problems, that covered the material for his upcoming test. We then completed his study guide that contained practice problems involving balancing redox reactions, assigning oxidation states and identifying reducing/ oxidizing agents, and created a "tips" list for test taking tips. He understands the material and the steps involved in solving redox reaction types of questions. Good luck for the test!"
"The student and I reviewed for her final exam. We went over several key questions that she had using a practice final exam. She had an excellent attitude throughout our sessions together. She voiced feeling much better about several concepts that we covered."
"During this session, we defined and reviewed the topics on pH, pOH, molarity and stoichiometry. We practiced solving concentration of hydronium and hydroxide ions. We also learned to write dissociation equations. At the end of the session, the student was confident in converting pH to pOH and to the concentration of hydronium/hydroxide ions."

"The student and I worked on an array of organic problems. We first discussed a variety of questions she had on specific topics such as hyper-conjugation, ring expansion, and ring condensing reactions. We then worked more in depth on the different substitution and elimination reactions and their respective conditions (Sn1, Sn2, E1, and E2). She needed help understanding the principals of these reactions and their differences, and we worked through problems to highlight their specific conditions."
