"I recently graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a Masters of Health Science in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. Currently I am working for the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene in the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Unit.
Over the past academic year I was a Teaching Assistant for the Introductory and Advanced HIV/AIDS Epidemiology courses. I had the pleasure of introducing many non-science majors to the interesting and complicated world of HIV."

"I have been tutoring high school and college students for the past 5 years, covering basic through advanced math, chemistry, biology, and physics. I graduated college summa cum laude with a double major in bio-chemistry and pre-medicine. My success came from truly understanding the topic and applying it to real world scenarios. In life everything is related, and in learning making connections between multiple topics has given me a lasting enjoyment that allows me to communicate the topics more effectively to others."

"As Academic Chair of my fraternity, I held informal tutoring sessions for younger pre-med students for eight total hours per week. In small study groups I answered questions on biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics, often employing diagrams and visual aids in my teaching. In addition, since high school, I have always been someone that friends entrust to look over and critique their papers before they submit final drafts. My teaching style features visual learning, mnemonics, and hierarchical organization of material." ...

"I am recent graduate from Cornell University, majoring in physics and minoring in math. I have been teaching AP level physics for approximately 5 years now and have tutored students for more than 7 years. I love teaching by conceptual examples, and getting students to really understand the concepts behind the class, rather than simply memorizing the equations themselves. Moreover, I also specialize in teaching students certain tricks/shortcuts that will enable them to save time on their tests at the end of the year.."

"I entered Fordham University as a Mathematics major, but quickly decided to pursue Physics after one year of college. This transition was simple and easy because many of the classes overlapped for both majors. While searching for work after I finished my undergrad, I decided it would be beneficial to attain a master's degree. My strongest engineering subject at Fordham was Electrical Engineering."
