Edwin ...of education and providing a venue for anyone to receive help in understanding science. I believe science literacy is incredibly important in our modern society. I have ten years of experience teaching middle school science and a degree in chemistry education from the University of Delaware. My experience has allowed me to develop a variety of strategies to appeal to multiple learning styles and hopefully help any student persevere over any learning challenge.

Jeffrey ...the University of Mississippi. While in graduate school, I spent years as a laboratory teaching assistant for various undergraduate chemistry laboratory courses. I have several years of tutoring experience, primarily in undergraduate general chemistry courses. I believe that all students are capable of doing well. It is just a matter of isolating what they do not understand, formulating a plan to reinforce fundamental concepts, and helping them to build confidence by working problems.... I believe that students learn best by working and thinking through problems. I believe this is especially true for chemistry courses. Although everyone does not learn the same way, we must put in the time in order to know what does and does not work. Many students work just enough problems to familiarize themselves with a concept, but stop short of working enough problems to be truly comfortable with the actual chemistry concepts being presented. While I do believe that there is more than one way to learn something, when it comes to math and the physical sciences there is no real replacement to working your way through progressively more involved problems because they force you to think, and the process reinforces what you already know.

Lauren I love helping people understand material that they have trouble working through on their own. Everyone learns differently and there is a way to teach everyone once you breakdown the information to its most basic concepts and build up from there. I am sure that together we can set you on the right path to understanding the subject matter at hand.

Jacob ...Chemistry, emphasis in biochemistry. In my final semester of college, I tutored chemistry online, and I can honestly say it was the most enjoyable job I've ever had. I am a scientist, so I mainly tutor chemistry, but I am also an excellent essay writer, editor, and test taker. As a result I am well equipped to tutor chemistry, physics, biology, math, essay writing, report writing, editing, and ACT Prep. I love seeing students with...
