I realized that I loved teaching after being a substitute teacher for three years. This gave me experience in teaching all subjects for grades K-12. I made the decision to attend the NAU Elementary Education program. The education I received at NAU was so valuable since many of the instructors were teachers at other schools themselves.

"When I ran the test-prep program in Missouri, numerous students experienced high levels of success in improving not only their test scores, but also the skills these tests measure. I taught students who started at 25 on the ACT and ended up at 34, but at least as satisfying were those students who started at 14 and eventually achieved 19.
