"The student and I covered non-parametric statistics (usages, assumptions, examples, etc.), as well as the pick-a-test worksheet, which allows you to look for a particular type of analysis based on the outcome variable. Additionally, we discussed her dissertation in greater detail, talking about some other potential ways to capture her data and potential analytic considerations. She and I will be meeting once a week (unless I hear otherwise) since she is starting back up with classes for the spring semester."
"We worked on reviewing his AP Physics 2 homework, which included two labs covering the application of Newton's Second Law. We discussed at length in regard to both labs (Egg Car, Balloon Car) how a force applied and the time it is applied over causes an acceleration and therefore a change in velocity and momentum."
"We worked on his review packet that is due Tuesday. Specifically we went over chapter 5 and chapter 7 on population growth and limiting factors and cell structure respectively. He has a few more chapters to finish so he was going to work on some of them this weekend and we would finish the rest on Monday. Overall it was a good session."
