Carefully selected, highly-credentialed Organic Chemistry tutors
" Ever since I have been tutoring Math, Chemistry and standardized tests. Tutoring is a pleasure to me, I particularly enjoy helping students reach that 'aha' moment, where they gain an insight into a particular concept. As of January 2012 I have tutored more than 20 students for a total of nearly 500 hours.
In the future I will be attending graduate school in Chemistry, and will later continue as an educator, hopefully on the university level.."

"from Columbia University in Chemistry. Throughout my life I have always had an enthusiastic attitude regarding education. " I moved out to New York originally to take advantage of an exciting opportunity to work towards the development of a safe and effective vaccine for the HIV virus. I’ve stayed because of the vibe of excitement and competition in the city. It truly does push you to be your best. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the ever-changing NYC landscape, stumbling about the internet learning whatever it has to teach me, studying politics both as an art and a science, as well as my guilty pleasure of watching the NFL and the occasional Newcastle game." ...

"I competed as a decathlete on the Varsity Track & Field Team and played club rugby while attending, which sparked an interest in personal training immediately after college. I knew that I wanted to go to medical school and would first need to complete the prerequisites, but in the time between undergrad and postbaccalaureate coursework, I worked as a personal trainer. The experience of tailoring plans for the individual and working one-on-one with a client has proved to be invaluable to me as a tutor. While completing the premedical postbaccalaureate at ASU, I tutored several classmates and lab partners in the natural and physical ...

" I believe that the key to success is for a student to be well rounded. My clients have ranged from middle school pre-algebra to college students in Calculus. While in college I tutored students who struggled as well as students who wanted to take their grades to the next level. I also have taught SAT and ACT prep courses, where students overcome anxiety and learn to become excellent test takers. Most importantly, I'm not a nerd. I have children of my own and know how to make the subjects come to life so that students love learning! I have successfully taught students with all abilities - from those who are gifted to those who are in special ...
