This session, the student and I worked on math topics. We looked at a ruler and the marks indicating measurements of 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 of an inch. I encouraged him to write out the steps instead of attempting to do the work in his head. We also spent time learning to convert fractions to the same denominator to add and subtract them.
