"Today we had a good session. The student had completed a few sections and she did quite well. I think that her confidence improved with the knowledge that she could succeed. We practiced sentence completions and improving sentences/identifying errors. After several practice worksheets, she did another short writing section, and performed extremely well. She will take the assessment this weekend, and we will continue review until the November date."
"I met with the student to help with her organic chemistry II course. The course seems to be quite challenging, seeming more like something at the graduate level. We discussed her up coming exam, and went over organic reactions, reagents and conceptual material, such as basicity. We have arranged to meet two more times before her exam."
"During the session, we reviewed the client's recent acid/base titrations test. We worked through several problems that the client missed, including buffer, simple dissociation, and polyprotic titration questions. The client then worked on her thermodynamics/enthalpy homework with my help."
"In this session we worked on reflections and rotations about the origin. We also worked on problems related to mean and mode."
"We studied for the student's exam tomorrow. We mostly spent time on inversion. I think she's getting a better grasp on it. I tried to explain it in a different way this time in the hopes of it sticking. I think, after this session, the student has a great idea of how her studying should go the rest of the night. I'm sure she'll do well."
