"The student had a 1-page report on statistics on Australia due. We used a variety of Internet resources and then she typed her findings (birth rate, population, religions, natural resources) on a manual typewriter."
"The student and I worked on the necessary Geometry equations that he needs to learn for the exam. He needs to memorize these so that he can move on to solving difficult questions involving their applications."
"We worked on short vowel sounds, a, e, i, o, u. We also worked on his auditory translation of sentences. I would say a sentence and he would write down what he heard. He is getting much better at hearing the sounds and distinguishing between them. We also worked on long vowels with vowel digraphs such as ay, ai, ee, ea, etc."
"The student and I continued working through her TAG practice books, focusing mostly on mathematics (probability, interpreting charts/graphs, and statistics). She seemed very comfortable with the content as we were completing these types of problems. Additionally, we worked on several pages of analogy practice and finding number patterns (in her logic practice book). She was assigned several pages in her practice books for homework, which she plans to work on over the next two weeks. We plan to meet again in two weeks."
"The student's Chemistry class is learning about balancing chemical equations. He understood the basics from the teacher's instruction and only got confused a few times in completing these problems. In geometry we are starting a Ch.6 review on circle circumference, arc lengths, and chords and tangents. We worked through five problems as I expect the class to have a test soon. "
"Presented the basics of propositional logic, discussed informal fallacies a bit, and worked through a handful of LSAT problems to get started on how to apply the logic for quicker and more accurate answering of questions."
