Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We worked on factoring trinomials and special factors. Most factoring concepts were grasped quickly. More practice is needed to solidify this skill, but it is readily achievable."
"We reviewed the chain rule and implicit differentiation in-depth, and gave a brief introduction to indefinite integrals."
"We started learning about hyperbolas. We also worked on identifying conics by their equations. We also did some review work."
"The student and I reviewed her study guide for her math test tomorrow. She had actually completed at least half of it in class or on her own. It was still on point-slope form and slope-intercept form and graphing. This time the student was able to discern the two equations correctly - yay!"
"The student and I continued to move ahead through the lessons of her book. We reviewed some material she had covered on her own, and worked on topics of complex fractions, uniform motion and interior/exterior angles. She practiced using problems in each lesson (from the book)."
"After finishing her homework, we moved on to reviewing for her final next Friday. We moved on to topics like logarithms, probability, and mixed fractions. We did sample problems in each section and it seemed she remembers most of the content. We will meet before next Friday to cement her confidence and make she there is no topic she is uncertain about."
