"We worked a little on hanging masses from physics then went to calculus. We mostly worked on implicit derivation and how to get second derivatives."
"Reviewed for the student's midterm and reviewed his final homework that was due before his test. Went over all material he felt unsure about or wanted clarification on."
"Today we completed a review with the student for her final. She's come a long way! She needs to keep an eye on her signs."
"We worked on completing an old assignment. We also spent a significant amount of time discussing the student's research project. The student opted to do a secondary data analysis for her research project. We looked closely at the variables selected and decided on some descriptive statistics to use to analyze these variables. We also discussed some strategies that she could employ to develop her introduction for the paper."
"The student's final exam is next week, so we spent this session preparing for that. I talked to him about his goals for this class, and setting short-term goals will help him succeed with his future academic goals. He currently has a 72 in algebra 2 and would like to stay out of range of failing. He told me that he doesn't have lacrosse for a while so hopefully can begin to focus more on his studies. Practice makes perfect, and he can contact me anytime if he needs any guidance."
