I want to take this opportunity to let you know how wonderful my tutor, Patrick, was to work with. I was apprehensive about this whole experience because I have been out of school for so long. I was a little concerned about having someone younger than me tutor me. I didn't know how they would act toward me but Patrick was patient, kind, and understanding. He helped prepare me for the test by building my confidence in the sections of the test I needed most and by giving me confidence about test taking in general. He understood that as a person who has been out of school for sometime that I approached questions differently. He helped me tailor the approach I was using to make it work for the test. He was prompt and professional during our meetings. He is an asset to your organization. If he can help me, he can help anyone!

I just wanted to let you know that my daughter has made amazing progress on her SAT scores after working with Marlene, our tutor. She went up 250 points - I have not seen my daughter this happy in months. I've listened in on her sessions with Marlene and I am so impressed with her organized, calm - and calming - approach. Our daughter just received her SAT score back and raised her score over 500 points from the first time she took the test. The tutors worked around my daughter's very busy schedule. I was fortunate to get a fantastic tutor. She was highly professional, organized and more importantly great teaching skills.
Additionally, her time management was great. Once my sons’s weaknesses were recognized she knew exactly how to approach the problem areas. My son was not intimidated by her and asked lots of questions. She was always available via e-mail between sessions.
My son will be taking his SAT again. I know there are no guarantees , but I feel like I gave him the best possible chance to gain confidence and hopefully raise his scores to the best of his ability.

Greg, our tutor, is wonderful. He is extremely patient. He pulled my daughter’s grade up to an 'A-'. I can’t say enough good things about him.
John, my tutor, was great. His professional, friendly, and approachable manner made it easy for me to ask him questions (especially in the moments I was a little embarrassed not to know). His tips about how to organize my work on my scrap paper helped me see problem-solving options that I had previously overlooked. He was knowledgeable about the full scope of content and able to break down complex problems into smaller, more digestible tasks. His willingness to be flexible was stellar as we worked to cram six hours of instruction into a very tight window. I really enjoyed working with him and my score was higher than it ever could have been without him.
Caleb, our tutor, met with our daughter today, and the session went really well. She is already feeling much more confident and relaxed about the test.

Karl was one of the best tutors I have ever had, and I have had experience with 20+ tutors. He tremendously helped me understand the mathematical concepts behind the physics lab, and gave me the tools that I needed to be able to do the lab on my own. He even stayed extra time with me until he was confident that I fully understood the mathematical concepts, and how to do the lab. I would give him an 11 out of 10. That's how helpful he was.
We retained Varsity Tutors to help our daughter prepare for her high school final exams.
