"We reviewed her previous exam and reviewed the chapter that they are doing now in class. She did very well."
"Today, I advised the student on a mathematics assessment assignment for her class. She understood the problems and had a clear idea of what they are asking, but struggled a little with how to analyze them. So, I explained some concepts as well as had an interactive discussion on figuring out the solution until she understood better and was able to solve them correctly. She is improving her problem-solving skills as well as test-taking skills."
"Today, we covered long division, multiplication, addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals. His attitude towards the material was very positive and he was willing to learn. By the end of the session, he mastered all the topics! I suggested that he learn the multiplication tables so he can increase his speed on his upcoming exam."
"The student has a quiz coming up next week, so we went through a practice quiz and the three formulas he needed to have memorized for the quiz - segmented interested, continuously compounded interest & half life. I also taught him an easy way to check his answers found graphically, and he felt very confident about taking the upcoming quiz."
