"During this session we reviewed the concepts on her worksheet. Some of the concepts she needed to review again and she took lots of notes to be able to help her through the problems. We also discussed how to determine probability, worked on some word problems, determined the equations of linear lines and graphing them, finding percent increase and decrease, and surface area/volume of regular polygons/prisms. She needs to spend some more time reviewing over all the concepts and plans to get a blank worksheet and work through the problems again."

"In this session the student and I continued reviewing the rest of his textbook. These chapters were a bit more dense so we moved through them more slowly, but she was attentive and learned very quickly. We went over graphs of higher order functions, finding asymptotes, and more logarithms. Some of these problems became quite complex but after time, she was able to grasp the concepts involved in solving them and have a stronger understanding of key relationships involved in mathematics. Overall it was a very good session and she is showing strong improvement."

"During my session with the student today, we spent the entire 1.5 hours ensuring that he mastered the chapter on percentages in preparation for his test tomorrow. We reviewed everything from converting from a decimal, percentage increase and decrease, discount and markups, and simple interest. He was able to calculate the correct answers for all potential test problems. I gave him a practice worksheet that I crafted for him and I worked with him to ensure that he always shows his work and takes his time to calculate accurately."
