Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered similar geometric figures, scales, and other ratios. We also reviewed an introduction to set theory that the student's teacher assigned him as homework."
"Reviewed Chapter 1 and 2 and Sections 13.5 - 13.8 for a test. Seemed more focused. Session longer than usual."
"We worked on solving systems of equations graphically, solving compound inequalities using union and intersection of sets."
"We started working on solving problems using proportions and ratios, The student needs to do a lot more problems so that she can fully grasp the material. She tends to make simple algebraic mistakes (I know she knows better). She just needs to slow down."
"The student and I reviewed the laws of exponents and properties of logarithms, function notation, composition of functions and operations with functions, operations with complex numbers and rational expressions. The hardest concept covered was composition of functions which will be the concept we focus on next session. He is eager to learn and for the most part these concepts are review for him; he learns quickly. I sent him a few videos on the concepts we covered as well as some practice problems. He is doing a great job!"
"We covered the student's algebra topics he will cover for the coming week, which were inequalities as well as graphing inequalities. He performed excellently, and we were also able to work further on some difficult PSAT questions. We focused on breaking down word problems into algebraic equations in order to solve a problem."
