"The student did very well today. We reviewed for his geometry quiz he has tomorrow over the different types of angles dealing with transversals and parallel lines. We also reviewed proving two lines are parallel by using its transversal and its angles. Also we talked a lot about slope  slope that is positive, negative, zero, or undefined. We learned how to find the slope by using its formula. Also we learned how to find the equation of a line by finding the slope and yintercept. And we also learned to find the xintercepts as well. Also we learned to use Rise over Run in order to find the slope on the graph. Student will definitely be ready for his quiz."

Block design is advanced; comprehension is nascent; vocabulary looks good so far and will improve with strategy; introductory level coding was excellent with student finishing both exercises within the allotted time!"

The student struggled in particular with putting quadratic equations into vertex form. We did several extra practice problems from his online practice set, and I made up some additional problems for him to work out. He seemed to understand best when we worked problems from standard form to vertex form, and then back to standard form so he could see how each individual step affected the end product and have a way to self check his answers."
