Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student reviewed both basic geometric shapes and reading this session. Despite some apparent difficulties earlier in the day, he had a firm grasp of the subject when we reviewed. He also had a clear understanding of the reading material and seemed to enjoy the newer books more than the older material. He has an issue of attempting to rush through to the end that I am trying to work on - directing his attention back to the skipped session usually helps, but I suggest books that he is interested in as well to keep his attention."
"Today the student and I read more children's books. She has been steadily improving on her reading. Next time, we will continue practicing reading and math."
"Preschool: letter identification, upper and lowercase, identification of first letter sounds, reading words of three letters using pictures as cues. First Grade: multiplying using the rule of zero and the rule of one, using visual cues to identify repeated words, clarifying meaning through drawing. Second Grade: multiplying through 5."
