Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered his previous test. I gave him tips that may help him in the future with his multiple choice questions. In addition, we also covered material related to his essay that is due in class on Monday and created an outline for him to follow when writing his essay."
"We covered the history of the colonies in North America, which is not so easy to do in 2 hours. Topics included Spanish and British imperialism, religion, politics and economics. We also included a good deal of social history, as well as a little cultural anthropology. I told him after the session to let me know how he did on the test. He seems like a really smart kid, he was just missing more detailed commentary on the content, such as Puritan family structure vs. British mainstream family structure. I gave him a bunch of notes via lecture, and I summed up the important themes for him. I really want him to do well, because he seems like he is a good student."
"The student and I spent the session working on how to analyze a historic document, in this case the United States Constitution"
