We had an amazing tutor, Luke, who helped my son with his college admission application. Luke was very professional in that he made my son write his own essays and then asked very pertinent questions which helped him re-write his essay himself. He would say something like "Are you sure this is how you want to end your essay? Is that really the final impression you want to leave?" and then my son would scrutinize it and come to Luke's conclusion and improve it. Luke was A+ and I would recommend him and Varsity Tutors to anyone who needs a great English tutor or essay critic! By the way, my son did get into UCLA and we know that Varsity Tutors and Luke helped to make that a reality!

Varsity Tutors was the third company we tried for coaching for ACT/SAT testing. We had tried one on one tutoring as well as special weekend intensity classes. Varsity Tutors was by far the best. They were efficient, organized accurate and fair regarding pricing and refunds. But my children and I both felt that the tutors they were given were exceptional. They were pleasant and skilled at imparting information and making it a fun learning experience. Both my son and daughter told me that they had learned a lot more in a shorter time from Derek and Darby who were just wonderful. We are very happy to have found Varsity and highly recommend this service.

We are almost to the end of the summer break and we had a wonderful time with Denise. She is amazing and she has done so much for our kids educationally. I thought it was a pleasure to work with her and we learned so much from her in depth knowledge of the early education system.

Our daughter’s experience with our tutor has been excellent. He is a very good match for her, and in her words, "He understands the way I think." I think he's terrific as well...organized, upbeat, encouraging, confident, punctual, and of course, very bright.

Our son finished pretty good thanks to all of your efforts. We really appreciated your help and commitment to our son. He got an 80 on his Trig final and he was able to keep his 'A' in the class. He got an 'A' in Photography so his total GPA was GREAT! He is in his first day of a new semester so we hope to get some solid study skills together to stay on top of his work.

I'd like to let you know that Stacy was the best tutor we have ever had!  She had a special way of helping my daughter to feel comfortable with her teaching, and therefore was able to keep her attention longer than any other tutor or teacher in her past.   

I wanted to let you know that our son achieved his goals on the June ACT! His English score went from a 21 to a 30, and his Reading score from 19 to 29. He is very pleased, and this also means that he will receive more scholarship money from his college!
