"We covered prepositions and commands. I helped her with the vocabulary, but after she hears the translation once she generally does not need to be reminded again. She did very well on the preposition part."
"We continued to work with direct and indirect object pronouns today. The student is definitely making progress in understanding how these function within a sentence. W will work more on distinguishing between direct and indirect objects, especially since this will be crucial to understanding double object pronouns."
"During this session we completed some practice exercises on Spanish vocabulary related to technology. We reviewed a list of vocabulary items and used these terms to answer questions related to a scene. I had the student read aloud and on occasion he had difficulty sounding out certain words, especially if it was new vocabulary. We reviewed Spanish vowel pronunciation and I helped him sound out the words by syllables. He is making good progress and he understood the questions which were written in Spanish."
"The student took his midterm over the weekend and he said he felt pretty good about it. He is now starting on the second part of his class which is having him read a book and answer questions about each chapter. We spent the time today going through some of chapter one identifying the grammar and vocab. He is getting better and I am happy with this session."
"The students did a great job!! They are improving a lot. Every time they do better with the exercises and learn more vocabulary that they use when they have a free style writing, so I am proud of them. They have extra practice to help them learn more adjectives and use them in sentences."
