"Today we reviewed Chapter One's vocabulary terms and practiced using them in context of conversations & sentences. We reviewed the meaning of "saber" and its conjugations. Next we went over the usage of "tan, como" and "tanto, como" to make comparisons. We also worked on adjective/noun agreement."

Afterwards, we have worked on the Preterito past tense. We have talked about the certain usage of this past tense and worked on several exercise. He is doing a great job and he is very motivated and worked at home as well. He has been assigned the homework with Preterito sentences."
"This was my first session with the student. We went over her homework for the week mostly focusing on Direct Object Pronouns and starting on past tense verbs. We will pick up there for our next session."
"During the session we covered his two current homework assignments. The first lesson was presented in a workbook and it covered vocabulary related to medicine, health and anatomy. We worked through the questions, filling in the blanks & matching as necessary. The second assignment was a 5 minute video story followed by related questions. We watched the video and answered each of the questions. We submitted the answers online and received confirmation that the student scored 100% on the quiz. The video also covered medicine and health. The student needs to work on vocabulary, grammar (tenses and conjugation) spelling and pronunciation. He is interested in American football so I left him with an article I printed in Spanish on Joe Montana. I am encouraging him to read short, well written articles on subjects of interest to reinforce his studies."
"Our lesson went very well, she shows an advanced-intermediate understanding of Spanish grammar and is ready to progress to a more advanced level of the language. She has good pronunciation as well. We went over a National Geographic article translated into Spanish and covered some grammar points as they came up. I don't foresee that there will be any major obstacles to learning here."
"On Saturday, the student and I kept our routine by starting with a discussion of some current events in German. Our topics were focused on the remembrance day for the Japanese nuclear disaster 5 years ago and the migrant crisis. She incorporated the new vocabulary from our readings very well. She then gave a small history report, after which we looked at some grammar topics. These included comparative and superlative adjectives."
