Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We had a good lesson today. We went over vocab for birthdays and family members today. I advised the student to try to practice vocabulary for a few minutes every day so that it becomes easier to remember."
"The student and I continued our passive voice lessons. We looked through his homework from his grammar book, and then moved on to creating a "cheat sheet" study guide for the different scenarios where passive voice is used. We then created our own sentences to practice. He is doing very well with such a difficult topic."
"The following communicative functions were introduced respectively: greetings and saying farewell; asking and telling names; counting from 0 - 1000; asking and telling age; asking and telling how things are going; asking where someone lives; and telling names. The teaching approach was interactive. The student could interrupt at any time and pose questions. The assignments for the next sessions consist of reviewing today's content and topics as well as preparing the next lesson based on the textbook. The student was struggling with the pronunciation of the letter 's' in German. Here, an additional exercise helped to clarify how to pronounce it and finally improve the pronunciation."
