Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed vocabulary from previous meetings, went over pronunciation, covered descriptions of people, and telling time. The student is making good progress with his pronunciation, and I can tell he is trying his best to apply himself to the material. We went over children's literature in Spanish as well."
"This session went really well. The student and I worked on some homework exercises in his workbook. The subject was centered around replacing objects of sentences with their corresponding direct object pronouns: lo, la, los, las, me,te,nos. He had a pretty good grasp of the direct object pronouns in theory when we began, but was really understanding it and was able to put it into practice by the end of the session. Next I had the student practice conjugating the common e-ie stem-changing verbs. He got this easily as well. Overall I feel like the session was the best one so far and that his motivation was high."
"Yesterday the group focused on ways to say where people are from and where they live. We practiced pronunciation with Latin American countries and continued practicing conversation using desayunar."
