Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today was the second session for the student and me. It was important that we got together because her test is coming up tomorrow and there is a lot of material that we need to go through so that she will be successful and do well. We spent the first part of our session reviewing what she studied last night and the structure of the state court judicial system. She did well in the review and she seemed to know the material pretty well. In the next part of our session, we covered the due process model, and the importance of due process in the 5th and 14th amendment. There was a lot of information, but I tried to do a good job by breaking all of the information down to basic form and using many examples in order to help her study and remember the material. The review she received for her test is very long and detailed with an abundance of information, facts, numbers, and details to remember and study. As we continued to review, I felt that she was getting a better grasp of the information and understanding it more. I outlined what she should study and how long she should study each area of her review so that she can be fully prepared for her test. I outlined the sections and material we did not cover and told her to read on the information as well to study the index cards for these areas. She did extremely well in the session, and I was very happy. I believe that if she studies the rest of the material using the strategy that I proposed, she will do extremely well on her test."
"We went over economic concepts and policies, including economic roles of various parts of government, supply-side versus Keynesian policies, and the Fed and interest rates."
"The student and I went over the majority of Key Issue 3 from the Food and Agriculture chapter of his textbook. It was a really long chapter, so I'm very impressed with how thorough and thoughtful he was in his studying of it. We went over his questions regarding crop cultivation and the various types of agriculture, and we'll be finishing reviewing Key Issue 3 as well as any questions he has for Key Issue 4 once he finishes the reading over the weekend. Great job!"
