"The student and I met from 1:102:45. We worked on improving his understanding of circles and parabolas before moving on to learn about ellipses and hyperbolas. I made up numerous examples with differing degrees of difficulty and he was able to work through them all. We are working to make sure that he performs well on his final exam."
"The student and I reviewed the most recent SAT she's taken. We started by going over her essay and discussing how concrete examples are more powerful than hypothetical ones. In the math sections, we reviewed important concepts such as slopeintercept form, 306090 triangles, and probability. In the reading sections, she is doing well but often secondguessing the right answer, so we talked about how not to stretch to make another answer fit. In the writing section, she reviewed a few important rules, such as introducing parallel phrases with the same preposition."
