We went over the student's math corrections from old exams.  He understood most of the problems but I helped him get through a few of the trickier ones.  He seems to be in pretty good shape for his exam on Friday and we are going to meet to go over any more problems on Thursday.

The student has his English final tomorrow and I think he'll do reasonably well. There will be two parts: grammar exercises and an essay at the end. At a minimum, you must use all the space provided.

We chose a topic and brainstormed on the content.  I taught him two different methods of writing that could be used in this type of essay.  He chose to use the point-by-point method, so we developed a detailed outline together.
