"
I like to keep things fun and break any and all problems / assignments down to their simplest forms. The simplest form is usually the foundation to it all.
I have taught and/or tutored students from 3rd to 12th grade and taught at public high schools as well as private elementary programs. I love working with students of all ages. I am very familiar with the school systems and have developed my own teaching approach that leaves the students that I work with feeling a sense of accomplishment and ownership of the material."

"in Spanish and Italian Language and Literature. I am now pursuing my PhD in Hispanic Literature at Stony Brook University.
I'm very passionate and driven in my field of study and seek for every opportunity to share my knowledge. I teach all levels of Spanish.
One of the biggest rewards of being a PhD student is teaching Spanish to undergraduates and to watch their knowledge and skills of language grow in the span of one semester.
¡Hasta pronto!."

"I can help students with essays, personal statements, applications, grammar, verbal and writing standardized tests, and Italian grammar and conversation. As a tutor, I’ve learned how to adapt to different learning styles and individuals. I personalize my tutoring sessions by listening to what students want help with, gauging their needs based on their writing or language ability, and understanding their teachers’ (or exams’) expectations. When I tutor, I enjoy being able to teach students as I assist them with their writing and language." ...

"While an undergraduate at Columbia University, I taught SAT prep courses. I will be going to law school in the fall, and until then I am continuing my passion for teaching with Varsity Tutors! My tutoring style has always been to fit the lesson to the student. Whether you're studying for chemistry test or analyzing a work of literature, prepping for the SAT or the LSAT, I make sure to focus on your goals and how to reach them. " Sometimes, a student simply cannot see how to connect theory and practice, sometimes, they don't realize how good they are at something, until someone else points it out. As a full-time classroom teacher, I am passionate about teaching, dedicated to nurturing students so they may reach their full potential.
One message I always like to relay with my students: stay positive and focused, and anything is possible. I’m looking forward to meeting future students and understanding their unique strengths, weaknesses and goals.."

"I graduated from Sapienza University in Rome in Philosophy in 2010 with the maximum grade, and I have another degree in Physics that will be completed in the first months of 2013. I have worked as a tutor for more than 3 years, in 1:1 sessions as well as in classroom environment, with class sizes ranging from 3 to 10 people. Tutoring is my passion, because I feel that teaching and helping students find their way out of difficulties is something very rewarding for itself. " While my educational background has more than prepared me to understand the basics of the science subjects, that my students were studying, my goal as an instructor reaches beyond simply teaching the lesson; I, also, aim to spark my student’s interests in the subject and make the lesson fun for them. I know from personal experience that learning any lesson is easier when one is interested and enjoys the learning experience. To that effect, I use concepts and analogies that relate to the students and grab their interests, and this relation may be from other topics or courses they have previously studied or an experience they come across on a ...

" My favorite subjects to tutor include English as a Second Language, Writing, Spanish, Social Studies, Art, Computer Coding and Design, and Math. It is my personal belief that a tutor must adapt to the learning style of their student. I tailor each session to suit the individual’s personality, interests, and academic needs. While I am able to sit down for a traditional session to explain a concept, I am also able to design creative and interactive lessons for both young and mature learners to break up the monotony we sometimes find in learning (especially if the student has been in class all day)." ...
