Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on enthalpy, entropy, and free energy concepts. We reviewed the class note sheet that the teacher had printed out. We covered the definitions of enthalpy, entropy, and free energy and the corresponding equations for the change in each in a reaction. From there, we discovered what the change in each would mean for a reaction in terms of spontaneity, order/disorder, and endothermic/exothermic processes. To cement this new knowledge, we worked on problems together. She mentioned that she felt much more comfortable and she demonstrated she was able to handle the problems really well!"
"We covered rate laws and collision theory. The student is going to practice problems with writing reaction mechanisms and identifying the rate law for the overall reaction."
"The student and I worked on molarity, neutralization reactions, finding empirical formulas and I quizzed her on polyatomic ions. She is going to do well on her chemistry comps."
