"I met with both students to cover material on the AP Physics B test. We talked about centripetal and gravitational forces, and very briefly about electric charge and force. We will take a more in-depth look at electric and magnetic forces next time."

"The student had taken a full practice AP Chemistry exam at school last week, and despite not having started the last free-response question in time, she earned a score that is comfortably in the 4 range, which is excellent. With more practice in the final week-and-a-half leading up to the exam, she and I are hoping that we can reinforce her skills and increase her speed so she could earn at least a 4 or even a 5 on the exam. To this end, she focused her attention on a collection of old AP free-response questions she had received from her teacher. These questions spanned from kinetics to empirical/molecular formula analysis to molecular geometry to thermodynamics. Overall, her command of all these topics was fairly strong. Moreover, she completed these questions with hardly any assistance from me, merely asking me if the answers she obtained were correct. (I was doing the problems as well on my own paper.) Given that she finished a full section's worth in 105 minutes rather than the typically-allotted 90 for the actual exam (though it's worth noting that we took time to clarify answers, etc. and weren't necessarily going for speed), we may work next time on tips to go faster, but overall I was very pleased with how she did."
"Today the student and I worked through problems involving the vector calculus definition of velocity and acceleration, and practiced setting up various types of diagrams to help solve problems."
"First we reviewed the homework the student had been working on, and fixed a couple of issues. Then we worked on a dynamics problem set, where she reinforced her skills at free body diagrams, vector decomposition, and vector diagrams. She need no help at all to solve the last two problems."
