We could not be more pleased with the results of our son's ACT scores! His first official ACT score was a 27! That is a 5 point improvement from all of his practice tests; we are thrilled. Although he did not see the value in having the tutoring support initially, it clearly impacted his learning and proved results more than he had expected.

Katie tutored my son for the ACT that he just took in April. He has taken the ACT twice and independently went from a 24 to a 25. After tutoring with Katie, he took the exam again and scored a 29! We got the scores for our daughter last week, and I cannot express how HAPPY AND DELIGHTED we are! She raised her ISEE score 21 points, and went from a 69 to a 90! She nearly doubled her math score!! We are in love with our tutor, Amy. She taught our daughter advanced concepts that were on the National French Exam. We are thrilled with her national placement. Her test grades increased by up to 10 points.

My son has never been a good test taker or reader, so we worked with Varsity Tutors to prepare him for the reading portion of the SAT. We hoped for a 40-50 point increase, but he ended up with a 100-point increase on that section. Your SSAT preparation program for our daughter was first-rate and an excellent value! The program was well-designed to identify and augment her areas of strength, as well as address those areas where she needed additional focus. Susan, our tutor, was outstanding. Most importantly, the process and test taking techniques our daughter learned along the way resulted in a very high confidence level on the day of the test. We were very pleased with the scores, which we received earlier this week.

Karl was one of the best tutors I have ever had, and I have had experience with 20+ tutors. He tremendously helped me understand the mathematical concepts behind the physics lab, and gave me the tools that I needed to be able to do the lab on my own. He even stayed extra time with me until he was confident that I fully understood the mathematical concepts, and how to do the lab. I would give him an 11 out of 10. That's how helpful he was.

The whole experience was great! Caryn, our tutor, was wonderful. Our daughter liked and respected Caryn immediately and that carried through the entire time. She was always early, very flexible about times, and brilliant in tutoring. My child is very particular and she was satisfied beyond her wildest dreams. She went into the test on Saturday with good confidence and armed with knowledge and tips from Caryn. She is sure that her score improved dramatically. Xin, our tutor, has been wonderful. He has a way of explaining math that makes it easy to understand and very interesting. He also provided detailed examples of pre-calc equations which our son found most useful. My daughter's calculus grade improved to a B+ after just three tutoring sessions. Her initial tutor moved out of the area and we were assigned to a different tutor. My daughter and the second tutor didn't click. I brought that up to Varsity Tutors and you immediately assigned a different tutor. My daughter and the third tutor are getting along very well.
