"Today the student and I practiced adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions in preparation for his upcoming quiz. We also reviewed his Latin vocab and went through his school's online assignments page to ensure that there was no missed homework."
"The student's vocab test last week went well and our work with the roots was more helpful than he had expected, so I was pleased to hear that. At our session yesterday we started with his math homework (compound inequalities), and he didn't have much trouble with it. We stayed with math after he finished his homework assignment, working through selected ISEE and SAT math problems."
"I assisted the student with her homework, which consisted of taking notes on a chapter in her health book explaining the problems associated with recreational drugs. I helped her with the pronunciation of the terms and helped her to understand the material."
"The student had social studies notes she needed to complete that she did independently. She also had math in which she was working with angles formed by two parallel lines with a transversal. She did very well."
"Met with the students today. The tutoring session focused on reviewing for their History test tomorrow. We reviewed: the Articles of Confederation, the electoral college, Virginia plan, New Jersey Plan, and the three branches of the Federal Government. Both boys need to review their notes from school again and read over the review notes we made today."
