Tutoring review by Lisa in Tucker, GA
We went over her homework, which covered graphing linear equations and identifying slope, domain/range, and y intercepts in word problems. She did a great job with this and remembered a lot of what we had gone over in previous sessions. The second student had no new information to go over, but has a bench mark test coming up. We continued to do practice tests on the website. He did very well, and continues to improve with these tests. He said he would continue to do practice tests to help him prepare. He seems to learn well using practice tests.

Tutoring review by Bernadette in Tucker, GA
During today's session, the student and I reviewed concepts for her final algebra exam. We began by reviewing how to solve basic algebraic equations then moved on to working with fractions. Next we looked at how to graph solutions and inequalities and solve word problems. She did will with this section of the review because she is able to find the information that is necessary to solve the problem. We also worked on the slope intercept formula and the point intercept on a graph. We then worked on equations of a line, which involves using a number line to solve equations. We worked on factoring, focusing on vocabulary that is used to solve problems in algebra. Finally, we worked on evaluating problems with exponents. Her math skills have improved since our first session, and she is more diligent about completing her work.
