"We worked on the student's spelling words for her test on Thursday. Instead of writing 6 sentences with each of the words in them, she chose to do another presentation focused on just one of the words, Narcissist. We drafted this paragraph and also went over definitions and spellings."
"Student 1 worked online with problems on linear equations. He reviewed the slope intercept form, slope, y-intercept, and graphing. Student 2 worked on the quadratic equations and can now derive the quadratic formula from 0 = ax^2 + bx + c."
"We met at the library to go over an assignment for the student's politics class. She had to propose two topics for the course research paper and provide a bibliography of 6 sources for each topic. Her professor will assign topics based on these proposals. We also read her assignment for her politics class."
"We went over conversation, talked about what the student did in the past couple of days, and she described what her ideal house would be like. She did an excellent job in this section. We also reviewed new vocabulary by making sentences, and worked on conjugation on the subjective form."
"Today, we focused heavily on writing. We talked about how wordiness is tested, so shorter answers are usually better. In addition, we discussed a few common grammar principles, as well as reinforcing when to pick "E" with confidence. I think he picked up a lot of concepts today that should translate to points if he can implement them reliably. Finally, we tackled a grid-in section of the math."
