Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today, the student and I prepped for her grammar quiz. We went over present progressive, direct object pronouns, and the verb conocer. She is an excellent student and has tons of questions. I really enjoy tutoring her in Spanish!"
"We reviewed #s, using sequences and simple math problems. He now knows the #s well without having to count. We also did time, what time is it and at what time is something. Finally, we reviewed the -ar verb forms with the verb flashcards. He is understanding the verb forms and only occasionally having to look at this notes for the form. The student has expressed interest in continuing the tutoring until the end of the year. He is understanding much better, but he feels he needs the tutoring to keep his grade up."
"We reviewed how to tell time and talked about possessive pronouns and adjectives, and questions/negation. The student is developing a grasp of verb conjugation and checking for gender/number agreement with nouns. We will focus on numbers and use of definite articles moving forward. No concerns; the student is an attentive and intelligent student."
"We went over some of his mistakes from previous exams and created sentences as a way to internalize the correct grammar. We worked on prepositions, vocabulary and verb tenses."
"We went over subjunctive using conjunctive phrases and practiced what we have learned in conversation."
"We prepared for her upcoming test on: ser vs. estar, como si + imperfect subjunctive, and conditional tense."
