Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed chapter 30 from the student's military textbook, then she took a practice test. She continues to improve!"
"We went over key terms and concepts for the chapter on U.S. Imperialism and World War I. Some key terms we reviewed were: Teller Amendment, Insular Cases, Zimmermann Telegram, and Panama Canal."
"We went over vocabulary for his new unit and went into a few details that would be covered in the unit later, like the Panama Canal building, the Spanish-American War, and the beginning of US imperialism in Latin America. The student shared his score from his semester final, an 80, which kept him at an A in the class. However, we are not satisfied with that grade so judging by his weaknesses from the exam, we decided to dedicate the last 20 minutes of every tutoring session to review so we won't be cramming in May before the AP test. I think we might bring back the flashcards since we held off on them for the past two units. I'm also thinking of assigning some practice on his own."
