"We worked on sentence correction and some difficult quant problems. The student showed great progress in both."
"We were all over the lot after a 15-minute orientation on the exam. We did reading comprehension, sentence correction, exponents and logs, probability, DSQs on algebra and number theory."
"The student previously took the GMAT about a month ago and is scheduled to retake the test soon. This meeting was a one time only to give him some guidance relative to the quantitative section. We discussed the scoring of the test, time-saving processes prior to pressing "go" on the test (setting up scratch paper, writing down formulas, etc.), and focused most of the quantitative discussion on data sufficiency. We looked at standard and yes/no data sufficiency and practiced numerous problems. The student stated that they make much more sense to him now, and he was making noticeable progress during the session. We also discussed number properties for types of numbers and how certain methods can be used to eliminate answer choices in yes/no data sufficiency and "must-be" question formats."
