Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today was my first session with the student so we got to know each other a little and planned a study plan for the next two weeks. We started going over her quantitative diagnostic and focused first on exponents. We discussed the exponent rules, how and when to factor exponents, and many examples of how they are applied on the GRE. We also discussed how to solve quantity comparison problems that contain variable answers. She definitely benefited from going over exponents, as it is something she hasn't encounter in a while. We also talked about some math vocabulary that is crucial for understanding GRE problems, and we started to develop general strategies for some of the commonly encountered GRE problems."

For the quantitative section, we focused on triangle geometry (especially special right triangles) and data interpretation. We also worked on a variety or verbal questions (completion, equivalence, and comprehension) and practiced brainstorming essay prompts."
"Today we worked through a variety of problems on the quantitative section, including medians and right triangles."
