Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over triangles and proving Trig equations. She also did some practice problems and did well with them."
"The student and I went over his most recent quiz then continued reviewing his 2nd midterm, which he scored low on. This expanded on exponentials, logarithms, and inverse functions. We completed reviewing this test, and I assigned him homework."
"We reviewed equations and graphing of conics for the test tomorrow and Wednesday. We covered going from one equation form to another and determining information from problem descriptions."
"We practiced trig problems for the student's test tomorrow. The problems were not easy, but she did a pretty good job on them. I'd be shocked if test problems were that difficult."
"The student missed his math classes this week and needed help to catch up on the missed material. We covered material on volume of solid plane slicing, which took a few practice problems to grasp the concepts, but he eventually felt comfortable with solving the problems. Once realizing which common formula to use, the problems appeared to be easier for him."
"The student and I discussed her past homework that I assigned. We had a lot to discuss, not only did we go over the topics but we had to work on the basic topics within the subjects -- factoring and simplifying the algebraic math, such as adding and multiplying fractions. We continued to look at older chapters. This session went on for a little longer duration than normal, but we were able to accomplish a lot. By the time I left, she was more confident."
