"He is doing better, especially with the chemistry he has right now. Worked on logarithms for algebra. He seemed to understand it just fine."
"Student and I worked on general chemistry. Also, we went over important ways to 'do more with less.' In other words, we went over ideas and ways to understand and remember more information with less overall effort. I believe that her effort is right where it needs to be. She tries hard enough, and believes that she will pass the class. However, as far as the professor's explanations, there is not enough time in the class period to ensure everyone understands the material thoroughly. I had her write down two different tables. One was a list of units, name of the units, and which equation it pertains to. Another was with the definitions of each unit. This will greatly improve her understanding of how and where to utilize each unit and variable presented in each question."
"We went over her homework on naming molecules and deriving the formulas and moles. We also started to go through the next chapter on writing reactions and the five main types of reactions."
