Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student completed the majority of her homework - which was extensive and focused on math basics (exponents, roots, working with equations, etc.). Today we reviewed averages and introduced the "jobs" problems. I encourage the student to continue to work on her algebra skills."
"The student and I focused on analyzing the data sufficiency portion of the exam. We reviewed complex concepts involving ratios, percents, radicals, number properties, and geometry that are tested on the data sufficiency portion of the exam. He mentioned that he may have underestimated the GMAT's traps that manipulate our psychology tendencies to choose the answer choice C on data sufficiency portion of the GMAT. I encouraged him to rephrase the questions as much as possible, to use simple drawings to visualize possibilities, and to use charts to evaluate all the possibilities."
"The student did nicely on the Debt Crisis reading, and I think she was managing her time well. Hopefully, she can continue her success with more science-y subjects. We also worked on the tenses corrections, which are uber-valuable!"
