Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we worked on organizing the student's binder, dividing it into different subjects. Overall it was a solid session."
"She was prepared to discuss the differences between the preterit and imperfect past tense in narration. We discussed briefly the rules and usage of both tenses and began immediately to work through a reading passage with Cloze exercises. In my assessment, she is still unsure of how to conjugate the individual verbs appropriately and correctly, but she has an above average grasp on the use of the past narration. To improve, we worked on using the meaning of the verb, context clues, and key words to direct her attention during quizzes and homework. To challenge, I left her with an exercise to write a journal entry using the past tense to describe her weekend and to review all IR spelling change verbs in the preterit. We also agreed to schedule next Tuesday."
"We worked on indirect object pronouns and preterite verbs ser and ir and dar and ver in preparation for a quiz."
