Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This was the last session with the student. I believe she is in very good standing, and she just needs to review all of the vocabulary we have done. I am not worried at all about her language skills. For reading timing can be better. All in all, I believe she will do well, and I am very glad I had the opportunity to tutor her. I emailed her screenshots of explanations to math problems and vocabulary from this session."
"I set the student up with her 3rd diagnostic test to begin the session. She worked through a reading comprehension test that took the average student one hour and twenty-three minutes to complete, finishing in a half hour. Again, the fastest test taker I have ever worked with. Fast, but generally accurate. We looked through each answer and talked them through, so she could see where she made an incorrect inference or a lapse in judgement. Either way, she is going to perform masterfully on this test. We finish test prep next week, focusing on the quantitative section."
"We continued going over the practice tests the student has been taking from the book. He improved his scores in every section of the exam, with the largest improvement coming in the quantitative section. His improvement is becoming noticeable, and it is a testimony to how hard he has been working. He's a bright student and can excel when he applies himself to his max capacity. We still have to do a little work with his timing on the reading comprehension portion of the exam. I assigned a handful of exams to do between now and our next session."
