"The student and I discussed another boarding school entrance essay. I recommended that the student finalize his essay by reviewing the content that he included initially."
"The student has a project on Mexico coming up, so we talked through what he plans to do and looked at a few resources. He seemed to feel like he was pretty comfortable working alone and would rather talk with me about it at another point. Instead, we went over some worksheets I had given him about analogies and then worked on some new vocab worksheets. We talked about his scores from the test. He was just below the limit for advanced courses in the verbal section, so we'll continue to focus on that. He found the test difficult, but because the visual reasoning is evaluated is so specific and rarely comes up in other standardized tests, we'll probably continue to focus on his verbal skills."
"We worked on the student's homework for science, math, and social studies. We reviewed questions, discussed general principles and concepts, and worked on skill development."
