Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The main concepts we covered were: the four main properties of multiplication, solving equations involving absolute values, finding points of intersection between two functions, and exponential decay."
"The student and I went over various problems for his exam for the upcoming week. During the session, he proved he's gained knowledge in solving systems of equations and simplifying. Overall, he is steadily improving."
"We practiced solving for one step, two step, and three step inequalities. He had already taken his milestone in Math, and the professor had not assigned any new work. The student just needs more practice since most recently he has only been preparing for the Milestone."
"We covered Simplifying Rational Expressions. The student reviewed and completed multiple practice problems to further understand solution methods associated with solving and/or simplifying Rational Equations/Expressions."
"Today we went over the student's Chapter 13 Practice Test. There were 28 problems on the test, and he did really well today. He completed the packet, and we addressed a couple of areas where he had some challenges. I urged him to write out the trigonometric ratios in order to figure out how to solve what he needs. He was receptive and began to have an easier time solving the equation."
"The student had questions about probability concepts. Her quantitative reasoning class is becoming more challenging. We went over the quiz from last week. We went to buy cards and dice in order to exemplify the concept of conditional and exclusive probabilities. During tutoring, the student seems to understand all the concepts, and it is encouraging to see that she is working faster and thinking more clearly each week."
