Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During this session we started by looking at integration and how to integrate polynomials. We also looked at how enthalpy and heat capacity are related as well as internal energy and work. We also looked at partial differentials and the cyclic rule to find internal pressure. We ended by looking at heat transfer and how it relates to change in temperature."
"To summarize, we went over a problem set, specifically on differences in velocity and speed of gas particle systems, how to calculate average values and most probably values based on probability functions, and some information on velocity and position of individual particles. She already had a firm initial grasp of this material, and seemed to have a good understanding of the relevant calculus topics. I think we can really build her mastery of the subject, especially given her experience with quantum chemistry."
"We reviewed for the student's quiz on Wednesday. We covered topics ranging from enthalpy change associated with change in temperature and phase changes to mainly bond enthalpy. She mainly has questions about each topic, so we just addressed anything she is unsure about."
