Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I spent the whole time studying for his test on World War I. We orally reviewed the chapter and section materials, and I quizzed him on the questions. He had a bit of trouble recalling names, but after some repetition he was able to remember them. At the end he was feeling confident about the material and I think he will do well."
"We reviewed the student's interim grade report. We briefly looked at and discussed his English assignment for "Of Mice and Men." He seems to grasp the requirements; the important element is finishing the work on time and turning it in. We turned to world history and continued work on the comparisons between Roman and Eastern Catholic religion and the rise of the Byzantine empire."
"We prepared for a presentation on Apartheid. We went over the structure and format of her speech. She seemed engaged and interested in the subject. I sent her some PowerPoints I had from teaching. I left her with the PowerPoints to help her organize her thoughts."
